Saturday – 18 April:
(This is only for those who want to drop their car off on Saturday and cycle back home).
07h00 – meet at Stillbaai.
07h30 (sharp) – cycle back as a group to Rietvlei. Pace 20km average.
Alternatively, you can drop your car off at any time during the day.
We will have a support vehicle/water point if there are more than 15 riding.
Alternatively, you can drop your car off at any time during the day.
Sunday – 19 April:
Option 1 – (88km)
06h45 – Meet at the bus stop on Chit Chat – Rand Water Board
07h00 – Leave from Rand Water Board – there will be 3 groups and ride captains will be advised on the day.
Ride captains will be assigned.
Don’t forget to pack a change of clothes/toiletries for Sunday. You can leave your bag in the support vehicle at the start on RWB road.
You can park your car at Rietvlei for the day and cycle from there to the start at RWB. I would however not recommend this – rather get a lift to the start point.
Option 2 – (65km)
08h00 – Meet at The Circus and be ready to leave with various groups, any time from 08h15 onwards. If you decide to leave before the main groups arrive, there is a strong possibility that the water point will not be set up in time.
Water point is approximately 40km from Stillbaai – ice cold Coke, water, banana bread & doughnuts.
